Eunoia | Creative Shoot

Eunoia is the shortest English word containing all five main vowels.  It comes from the Greek word εὔνοια, meaning  “well mind” or “beautiful thinking.” It is also a rarely used medical term referring to a state of normal mental health.

We think it is an appropriate time to share this fashion shoot, and video, as we embark on our 21 days of lock down in South Africa, to help #flattenthecurve and take a stand against the Covid-19 virus.

We were part of this collaboration a few days after the terrible fires in Betty’s Bay, beginning 2019.  The initial concept of this fashion shoot (consisting of photos as well as video) was to find evidence that beauty always exists, even within or after tragic events.  It serves as a reminder to always be grateful in the good and prosperous times, so that we can embody strength and resilience to carry us through the tough times.
